HA! never saw that before... Incredible movie. As far as WWII based movies or mini-series, I think the only one better is Band of Brothers

They're all essentially the same movie, because everything is based off of the prior... incarnation.

Movie: Saving Private Ryan

Mini-Series: Band of Brothers (Same production crew)

Game: Company of Heroes (Title taken from movie quote, was based heavily off of SPR)

All the same stuff.

I still prefer BoB... SPR is a great movie, don't get me wrong, but the true accounts of Easy Company just drive it home that much harder.

Actually, Company of Heroes was taken from Band of Brothers. In One of the the very last interviews, One of the veterans was telling a story about how his grandson had asked him "Grandpa, were you a hero in the war?" Grandpa asnwered "No, but I served in a company of heroes."

Well yeah, but the whole first mission is taken straight off of SPR. Besides, if I said that, I was was expecting a "that's not a valid reason" repsonse.
