Humble Apology

The other night Sockarang and a few other TSH members graced our Black Ops server with their prescence, Sockarang went 43/1 on WMD which prompted a review of his gameplay........ He was then banned from our server, (not a big deal...we are no-bodies) anyway we don't just ban someone cause he is better than us. Cheats are really hard to spot if someone is good at it. Here is a copy of a PM I sent to Sockarang.....



Sockarang, lastnight you were perhaps wrongfully banned from our Blk Ops server [OLD]LionsDen. As you know this game is full of hackers n cheaters and we have such a low tolerance for this sort of thing that we usually run passworded servers. First i want you to know that we don't take these things lightly and just flippantly toss anyone that kicks our butts. I reviewed 2 movies lastnight and only saw 1 thing at 4:37 of the map WMD that made me ban you...if you review the clip you may see what i mean. Anyway it still did not sit right with me so i went even further as you can see. I checked your steam community profile and saw that you have over 90 games on file with no prior bans. It was then that i figured that i had made a mistake.

I apologize, and if you choose to play on our humble server...know that we are all older people....not children.

Thanks for stopping by to post this. It takes a lot to swallow you pride and admit you were wrong and in this case to a guy you don't even know. For that i applaud you. I'll make sure to seek out your server and add it to my favorites.

Tell me about it... I may buy Black Ops just to play on their server! More people like this should be running the servers.. not whiny bitches who can't handle someone might be better than them.

Wow, I don’t think I have ever seen a server admin ever do this. I was in the server at the time and it all went down pretty fast and I was just confused at the time of what happened. I must say the reactions on our ventrillo at the time of the ban were all confusion and like 15 minutes of laughter, I didn't have hard feelings, I wasn't banned lol but if he couldn't play there, I wouldn't play there. So I’m glad you did this because now I can play there again! I also think another member of [TSH] named TrapperDawg was kicked/banned. I’m not sure which one it was but if you can look into it that would be great. Anyway, I actually enjoy playing on your server and it’s a smooth running server. It really takes a lot to do what you did here and I feel the same as Maj Woody(He said it perfectly..). I’m looking forward to playing there with you guys and even more now there is a server with responsible admins. See you in there soon!
