Get this

Radeon x800 256 MB AGP with a fan

Cost 700$ down in canada so if you live in american lucky you prob around 400$

Buts thats the best Video Card on the block so far! better the Nvidia and shit. Make sure its AGP not PCI cause AGP runs smoother.

Or get what Samples has,

i just have a Radeon 9200 128 MB AGP video card. It's aight for me, it suits me! lol

If you don't have $400 to spend, check out the ATI 9600 XT. Has great clock speeds and a 256mb can be found for about $140.

If you're in the market for an x800, make sure you check out the 6800 GT line. They have mor pixel pipes, version 3.0 of pixel shaders and cost $50-100 less than the x800. Also, if you're into it, you can over clock the 6800 GT to about what a 6800 Ultra is.

Best video card for the buck: http://www.chumbo.com/Info.aspx?id=220349

BFG Tech 6800 GT OC 256, $399. This card is factory OC'd to 370Mhz (stock is 350), it can easily go to 400, which the 6800 Ultra runs at.

I was an ATI man until i found this card. BFG is a great company as well, 24 hour tech support (toll free). I called them at 11pm on a Saturday when i was having an issue. I was off the phone with a fix in 12 minutes.

Don't take my word for it: http://www.rojakpot.com/showarticle.aspx?artno=140&pgno=0
