this is kind of broad. There are so many types of each catagory. personally, all the new rap comeing out, it Fuckin blows. its all "bitches money i want ass ass ass ass ass money I cheated on you." the only present rapper i like is eminem, and from him i only like his songs that are deep, not the "my band" stuff, i like the shit thats hardcore like the song "I Am" and all the stuff about his childhood and all that. I support rock, just plain sounds better

I like early 90's rap. One of my favorites was "It was a good day" by Ice Cube. But I think all music can be summed up into whats good and what sucks. I have a broad sense of music I like. Here is an example.
Here are some of the bands I have on one of my burned CD's. Bob Dylan, CCR, Cream, Eric Clapton, Elton John(just for benny and the jets), Ice Cube, Snoop Dog, Dr. Dre, Warren G, Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, Beck, Jane's Addiction, KC and the sunshine band, Lipps INC, Lynard Skynard, Steve Miller band, Steely Dan, The O'Jays, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones and The doors. So with that being said you cant stick to one genre of music or you will be closed minded. So when I tell Coldice the 80's sucked, I dont mean every song from the 80's sucked, but the majority of it did. The majority of rap sucks. The majority of rock sucks( especially in this era). But an answer cant be defined by such a broad question

i like a lot of different music also some rap...mostly old classic rock, and some new rock...also reage isn t that bad. the only music i dont really like is country. although it sounds stupid i alsso like some classical music....yeah so im open to everyhting cept country.

yea thats why I hate rap the most. They take good rock songs an turn them to shit. Hearin crazy train was made into a rap song made me sick.

Yeah...good point bulldog. A lot of rock gets corrupted by rap. Some rap is still good. Old-school mainly. Can't forget Vanilla Ice :D . I listen to a lot more punk rock then I do any of the classics. I listen to some of the older stuff on the radio though. Thats also quite a....colorful...collection bulldog.
