Norton Help

I have a small problem, its more of an annoyance than a problem. When refreshing a server group on ASE or when using COD the Norton Security Alert comes up. It is just making sure i want this problem to connect to the interent (protect from worms), but I have it set in options to permit these programs, but it keeps on asking. Is there anyway to have it set to always permit, so i don't have to keep hitting okay.


I have usally just moved it down into a corner or open the cod window over it so it doesn't pop up again.

you should just turn off norton when you dont want it. you just run a system check after ur done. thats what i do. if i dont have the time i just do it later., like during school or something.

when that comes up for me it usually says permit then under it says always permit and i click that box

i did that for some programs but ASE and COD doesn't have "always". COD one doesn't bug me but that damn ASE

you have to enable incoming and outgoing to specific connections as trusted in advanced in the firewall section. I used to have the same problem with norton (i use zonealarm suite now) and enable ASE to accept connections.
