I just spend like 1-2 hours getting footage for a cod uo movie and realized that i have no idea what to edit thses things with. i have windows movie maker but does it work for this.

u have to get fraps
look in cod files or somethin
i think wht it does is like take 30 pics every second then once u get into a movie editor add each picture 1 by 1 making the picture length 1/30th of a second so basically ull ahve moving video at a rate of 30frames per second. Too much work if u ask me. 2min = 3600 pics. have fun :lol:

i suggest however u do not use windows movie maker b/c it sucks balls
I couldnt get the soudn to line up with the video and after i made it i got a blank screen im wmp and winamp.

Well, if you have a Apple you could get iMovie. I've found it works really well.

OK I NEED A LITTLE HELP. i have edited all the bad parts out. but i need to put my video clips in order and add letters to them and back ground sound. i have tryed 2 different programs. one ended up to b just 4 still pictures and 1 would not take the file. i need help like a program that will let me. oh ya they are avi files now.

u can try WMM2 if u want to. or try finding some other video editor like vegas or adobe premerie. however those two are very pricey.

a free one that i could download would b nice. my dad has so much computer stuff in his office he might have one of those. about a month ago i looked in his office and found adobe photoshop now only if i could use it. the mail problem i have is it not taking the file types i want it to.

hey bull i was trying to use fraps and how are you supposed to do anything when u can only get 30 seconds? and i cant like edit anything out or anything? if u have msn can u add me viking2410@attbi.com

what ever your thing is to get video hit it and u hit it again to stop recording it will turn off after 30 in one clip but not total seconds of footage u have done and when it ends start it up again 4 30 more seconds and then put the clips together. if u figure out how to put them together tell me.

i downlaoded adobe premiere the tryout but idk how to use it. so im lost
