I have a question for the Admins: Why do some people feel that they are above the server rules because "they've known TSH for a long time"? On 7/15/08 @ 15:25 PST, I'm playing WAKE & someone named Darkness222399 thought she could base rape the carrier because she "knew" TSH members. Apparently she was talking to Gomez on voip while she was doing it. Check the logs... she's very proud of the fact she was doing it. I guess since some other guys were doing it, she could do it during the next game. She implied that the rules are only in place if a TSH member happens to be playing.:wtf:
Is this the way it is? Do certain non-TSH members have special privileges that allow them to be above the rules? I love this server, & play it often. I used to be on this site often, until I put a complete URL address in one of my posts concerning a MOD of BF2, & was automatically banned for spamming. Seems things have gone down hill.

Just noticed a post from vKiller (about 9 threads down from mine) regarding his kid not being able to log in. His kids username is darkness222399. She said to tell you guys that vKiller said hi.

This is absolutely not the way the rules work. If you are a regular on the server, you know that. If you were in the clan, you would also know the scrutiny those with server admin rights are under. Have we had admins make poor decisions, yes we have. We are all human. However, just as there are server rules, there are also rules our admins must follow. I would venture to say the person in question was NOT authorized by Gomez to break the rules, and if Gomez were aware, he would have put a stop to the behavior.
Additionally, the previous thread you speak of was an out of date version of Punkbuster issue.
So I would say this. As a regular, you know we take our server seriously. We want people to have fun and the rules we have are there for that reason. Some may not agree with them and some may decide not to follow. In either case, they can find another server to use. If you see someone breaking the server rules in the future, bring it up to an admin in game or leave us detailed information in a constructive way so that we may deal with the player.
If you have any further questions, please see one of the division officers.

Noone is above the rules for our wake server. period. ALL TSH members and pubbers abide by our server rules, and if they are caught breaking them there is some type of punishment. This Darkness person, is full of it.. never heard of the individual. And when did you get banned from our website? and what was the name you got banned under?
And to add to KT's post, Gomez could not have been talking to this person in voip in our Wake server as it does not work.

Gomez was not on the server... at least he wasn't listed under the players. So, I don't know for sure if darkness222399 was talking to him or not. darkness22399 was the one who mentioned talking to Gomez as we were playing.
I know you guys are sticklers for the rules, but I was knocked flat after hearing what this person was saying. Don't take my word for it, look at the logs & see what they were saying... doesn't your server keep a record of the in game conversation (typed, not VENT). This person was very smug about it, & I was getting pissed because I was trying to play a game.
As for the name I was using when I was banned: it was rougueagent2879. The last time I posted was a thread asking if anyone had any experience w/ the Fallen Hope 2 MOD. I put the full address of the website in the post, & next time I logged in, it said I was banned for "spammerbitch". Other than that, if you look at any of my old posts, you'll see that I was never confrontational, usually just asked a question or two. Also, if you look @ my game records, I always try to follow the rules. Always forgive for accidental TK's, try my best not to commit any TK's, & always try to remind new ones of the rules... especially the one about raping the carrier & artillerying helo & jet spawns.
I also was refering to darkness222399 as a "her", but that's what she said she was. Judging by vkiller's post, it's his son. I know that was a punkbuster issue, I was just noting it because it had mentioned his username.

Dude I take it that you are upset because you were on the recieving end of someone who was violating the server rules. Yes we will look into the chat logs and if warranted there will be action against people who violate the rules. It appears as though you are hinting that this person knows the rules and that they did this under the envelope that they are TSH friends or something. I quess to get us to ban someone?
If you have Xfire we have an admin contact page for requests in game. It's that simple... I have never had any qualm when someone contacts me or any other Officer or Admin with a request. We DO NOT however Warn, Kick or Ban ANYONE at a request. In the future contact an Admin and we will do everything to keep Wake a fun place for all. I see this issue has been resolved and am therefore closing this thread.
