mIRC how to with a great add-on script.

We need more idlers. irc.gamesurge.net, #tsh channel.

Here's an excellent write up of how to install mIRC and how to configure nnscript a script that makes mIRC look nicer and easier to use:

http://www.nnscript.de/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8576

There's tons of screenshots in that thread, if you need help, hit up an officer.

Once you're done, come idle (which means just leave mIRC running and connected) in our channel. We need to keep our numbers above 10 to keep our bots.

At the risk of sounding dumb, I would help but I dont even know what mIRC are. Could someone please give a brief description. I want to help but dont know what it is for.

Thanks for not being too harsh on me for my lack of knowledge in this matter.

its basically a bunch of .. servers or whatever, sort of like MSN in a funny sort of way.
from here you can organise friendly scrims with ther clans.
thats basically what i sued it for when I played CS:CZ

IRC is *old school* (i was using it in 1993) it stands for Internet Relay Chat. It's basically a network of servers that allow people to type to each other over the internet.

Some leagues (cal) require teams to have a IRC channel.

There are two "bots" in our channel, one that come from Gamesurge (which gives out admin privs) and the other from Clanbots that has a bot to that gives out info about our clan.

[note, i'm still configuring the clanbot, the roster has only officers listed right now]
